The inadequate compensation provided by programs like the Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program (CICP) is a federal program established under the Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness Act (PREP Act). The CICP’s 97% rejection rate and average payout of $3700 is a woefully inadequate safety net for every Covid vaccine injured American’s right to sue. This program’s failures underscore the critical gap in addressing the medical and financial needs of those affected.
