There is now a known link between rheumatic arthritis, sclerosis, ARDS and COVID.
Researchers have identified a protein called sCD13, previously linked to rheumatic diseases like rheumatoid arthritis and systemic sclerosis, as a key driver of inflammation in COVID-19 patients. High levels of sCD13 have been found in the blood and lung tissues of infected individuals, contributing to severe complications such as respiratory failure and blood clot formation.
The University of Michigan Health team discovered that sCD13 triggers an excessive immune response, leading to hyperinflammation in the lungs. This can result in acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), making breathing difficult and increasing the risk of severe illness. Interestingly, sCD13 also promotes the formation of neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs), sticky webs that can cause blood clots in the lungs.
Scientists are exploring ways to target sCD13 and its receptors, which could lead to therapies for both COVID-19 and autoimmune diseases.
At appears there is now a clear link between many ailments Frontline patients had after having COVID and after taking the COVID vaccine. Things that the mainstream medical community made light of despite Frontline Doctors brought to light in every possible way, fighting for the rights of patients and providers to know the truth.
Frontline Doctors shared research and wrote articles showing the link between COVID and respiratory failure, blood cloths, and ARDS months and years ago, encouraging patient to wait and learn more about the long term effects of COVID and the vaccine.
Now that the mainstream scientific community is now coming along and releasing research which confirms thing Frontline Doctors and Frontline patients were ostracized for bringing awareness to 3 or 4 years ago, we look forward to continuing to be a trusted resource and trusted provider for you and your family for years to come.
