FDA Commissioner Dr. Marty Makary recently stated that the agency is evaluating whether to approve COVID-19 vaccines for next winter, citing a lack of data on booster shots. This is a core issue and major shift in the narrative for Frontline Doctors and all of our supporters who have questioned the data surrounding booster shots for years.
He emphasized the need for more clinical studies to determine the effectiveness of updated formulations before making recommendations. This marks a shift from previous FDA policies that routinely updated COVID-19 vaccines each year, similar to flu shots.
The FDA’s reconsideration comes amid broader discussions about vaccine approvals, including delays in granting full approval to Novavax’s COVID-19 vaccine. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is also reviewing whether to significantly narrow its recommendations for COVID-19 vaccines.
At the beginning of the pandemic the COVID booster shot was touted as a one-time shot that would “cure” the virus forever. That quickly spiraled into a 3 to 4 time a year booster shot. Frontline Doctors were constantly pressing the timeline and research and long term effect of boosters and finally the truth comes out.
The FDA does not look into getting rid of treatments that substantially benefit the health of Americans. After half a decade of research and being able to see past the emergency approvals which allowed for mass inoculation via jab, there are new healthcare officials who are truly looking for the truth in medicine and Frontline Doctors support that effort.
If you are looking to boot the booster and stay ahead of your health with preventative measures and acute symptomatic relief contact Frontline Doctors today.
